Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss, a bluegrass fiddler from Tennessee at age 19 became a international star in 1990 when she receiving the Grammy Award to be the Best Bluegrass Album. The win was a feat that was not solely due to the artist's age, but because the album that earned her such recognition, I've Got That Old Feeling was actually third in Krauss's collection. Too Late to Cry was her first album, released in her Champaign Illinois local's age, sixteen. The singer had signed to Rounder Records, one of the top folk labels, in the age group of fourteen. Her achievements even at a young age, as well as her skill, have been consistently matched by her ability to been a loyal supporter of bluegrass, one of the country's oldest and most unappreciated musical genres. Krauss, who was once a teenager phenom, had matured into a musician and producer. Alison Alison Alison
