Anne Lockhart, born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 1953 was an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the Battlestar Galactica TV series from 1978 to 1979. She is the daughter and granddaughter of daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as the actress June Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career at very young age. There is a chance that one of Anne's agents turned down the offer for her reasons without informing her. Glen Larson chose her initially and gave her a preliminary written script. The role she would take was in the TV series Battlestar Galactica, which aired in 1978. The character was not strong enough for her to accept the role. Glen later wrote an even stronger character with Sheba. The Living Legend, the initial twenty-five pages she had already read and was subsequently accepted. The show lasted just one episode.
